The Problem with 'Pinterest Perfect' Event Planning
As not only event planners, but also connoisseurs of the event production field, we know it’s our job to deliver. And deliver BIG! Our clients become friends whom, after a few conversations, usually start feeling more like family. We recognize the importance and significance of every milestone event, and we always commit to working our feathered tails off to ensure everything is just p... Whoa, hold up! See what almost happened there? That sneaky, diabolical 'Perfect' word! Planning your perfect event is one of our goals, but Pinterest perfect event planning has its parameters. This heavy-weighted, two-syllable ‘P’ word trips up many laid back brides, MOB’s, and most others invested in the event planning process! Perfection can be strived for, but will it ever be attained? Most likely, no. We attribute this to most people taking that word and applying it to every detail- "the cake must be perfect", "I haven't found the perfect dress yet" (sullen longing seen in eyes), "the weather better be perfect!" When perfect is a one-size-fits-all box, with dimensions set by outside standards like Pinterest, we say forget it! Throw away perfection, forget about everything being "Pinterest perfect" and focus on what is YOU!
