Local Flowers For the Win

Here in Aspen, we feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing florists! Flowers are easily one of the most impactful details in a wedding and we are always bursting with anticipation to see what our florists will create. At Cody and Jennifer’s wedding this past June, we had the beautiful opportunity to work with flower extraordinaire Carolyn Riley of Carolyn’s Flowers. The team at Carolyn’s Flowers put together the most gorgeous arrangements, keeping it simple, yet elegant, with fuchsia and white peonies, green sprigs in bud vases, and large green leaves to add subtle drama to the bridesmaid’s bouquets.

Carolyn’s Flowers put so much thought into each piece and where it would live for the evening; contrasting the bright pinks against the dark brown of the groom’s cake, placing fluffy, vibrant white peonies on their structured, simple cream wedding cake, and keeping the dining tables decorative, yet simple for conversation with small whimsical arrangements. The bride and groom had a neutral color palette demonstrated in the stunning beige bridesmaids dresses, brown paper gift bags, and clean white tablecloths, making it the perfect canvas.
