Deciding where to plan your wedding? Look no further!
Here are the top 15 reasons to have your wedding in Aspen:
Alright folks, if you are in the midst of planing a wedding, you have a lot going on. You may or may not be shocked at the amount of decisions you have in front of you (really, really fun decisions), but a lot none the less. One of our favorite parts of weddings, and events in general, are the place settings, paper suites, and table design. The host really gets their own personal touch involved and to see what the planners do with it is just amazing. We have been so fortunate to design beautiful table accents and work with amazing photographers! We have taken some of our favorite paper goods, decor accents and table designs, to give you all a little Friday (late) afternoon inspiration.
Classic and elegant, we personally love the added background as opposed to a solo monogram.
We think this in general is an amazing way to keep a particular feel in your wedding, but we also think they would look wonderful sitting in the chairs of special guests such as parents or the wedding party.
This idea is becoming more and more common and we can see why! Adorable and thought provoking. Placing these at each table gives the guests of the wedding an opportunity to give you ideas and well wishes long into your marriage.
We LOVE the creativity behind this, and it's ability to relate. So many couples find adventure and enjoyment in traveling together, seeing the world, and creating amazing memories. Passport stamps help tie the theme into the smallest details.
This isn't a table setting, or really paper goods at all, HOWEVER we love the dark, whimsical, "Alice in Wonderland" feel that got all of our wheels turning. Please someone call us for an "Alice in Wonderland" wedding!
In an industry that revolves around creativity, beauty and detail, the opportunity and desire to learn is never ending. Just a few weeks ago we were fortunate enough to attend Bliss & Bespoke, a luxury retreat for wedding planers located in Charleston, South Carolina. Not only was the retreat located in one of the most beautiful places in the country, our itinerary was packed with a wealth of information, friendly industry faces, and yes..beauty.
We began each day with a breakfast to socialize, network, and enjoy amazing food. Our days were compiled of meet and greets, classes, workshops, discussions, and more..amazing food.
We attended a floral design class directed by the ever talented Mindy Weiss. Here are very own Kate Ryan takes her new talents to a vibrantly gorgeous level.
Cannot get more beautiful.
Among the many thank you's we have to extend a great one to the River Oaks team for providing exceptional hospitality.
An exquisite venue, complete with modern English luxury, while still promising the old Southern charm lakeside, and moss hanging from oak branches.
This retreat comes highly recommended by the Gold Leaf girls, as we experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity, and are forever thankful for the experience and knowledge soaked in from all who attended. Until next time, Charleston!
Okay, maybe you aren't giving everyone a welcome gift in a stocking, but we think it would be amazing if you did!
It's no secret the Gold Leaf team gushes over a dreamy white winter wedding and we love the creativity that comes along with the not-so-typical cold weather nuptials. Welcome boxes are a perfect outlet for that roaring creativity and we have put some of our favorite finds together for you to pack up for guests.
We think this idea could be so cute, especially if planned correctly! Does your welcome dinner venue have a fire pit? How about the hotel? This would be a little tough to travel with, so if you could utilize this right away, you could make your guests feel extra toasty. (We also love this idea for place cards, more and more weddings are featuring outdoor fire pits and s’mores for dessert!) Check it out here!
Jet lag? Family-lag? Wedding guests are always in need of a pick-me-up and chocolate covered espresso beans are the perfect treat! This site also makes these amazing personalized bundles of coffee grounds as well! You’re party won’t stop!
We cannot get enough of these socks! They are the absolute cutest idea thanks to Brit + Co. (whom we adore)! Socks are so versatile and will be enjoyed by both men and women at your wedding. Depending on where your wedding is being held, see if there are any known sock companies in that state, for example: Vermont is known for their Darn Tough’s (and other things…we’re talking to you maple syrup) it keeps it fun and very relevant!
Branders customizes anything under the sun for a very affordable price. What happens more at a wedding, ESPECIALLY in the chilly air? Teary eyes and runny noses, help keep guests comfy with their own pack of tissues.
Chances are there is going to be some cider poking around a winter wedding, spice it up with everyone’s favorite cinnamon whisky! Just be sure it isn’t first thing in the morning :)
